Transition from Nursery to Reception

We strive for a smooth transition into school life here at Bluecoat. The children are so familiar with the adults across the whole of the EYFS team that all the children know them before starting school. Throughout the year we have planned activities for the nursery and reception children to complete together, allowing the nursery children to see what happens in reception but also giving our reception children the chance to share with their previous key worker what they have been learning in school.
