Admissions
Admissions arrangements
The Bluecoat School uses Lincolnshire County Council’s Admissions arrangements. Further information regarding LCC’s Admissions can be found on their website.
Children starting school for the first time
Pupils are admitted to the Reception class in the September of the school year in which they turn 5 years old. The school’s Published Admission Number (PAN) is 30.
Reception aged admissions to The Bluecoat Primary Academy must be submitted on the Lincolnshire Schools Application Form and parents are encouraged to complete this online. Dates and deadlines are in line with Lincolnshire’s Schools Coordinated Admissions Scheme. More information is available online on Lincolnshire County Council’s website. Children who currently attend the Nursery will not be admitted automatically and must apply for a place in the Reception class on the Lincolnshire Schools Application Form as mentioned above.
Midyear Applications
Application for midyear places can be made by using the online application form, by contacting the Education Team on 01522 782030 or by emailing schooladmissions@lincolnshire.gov.uk
Visits to the Academy are welcomed.
If a parent wishes to appeal against a decision then they should contact the school directly and not the local authority. The appeal form should also be returned to the school.
