Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to The Bluecoat School Stamford!

At Bluecoat, we bring learning to life through a nurturing and inclusive environment, where every child is supported to reach their full potential. From our therapy dog and guinea pigs to our silver award for learning outside the classroom, we believe in enriching experiences that make learning engaging and fun.

Our curriculum is built on the core values of responsibility, independence, and resilience, woven throughout everything we do. Supported by the expertise within our Trust, we offer a strong curriculum, delivered by dedicated teachers trained in the latest strategies to ensure all children, from 2 to 11 years old, can thrive academically and personally.

Children at Bluecoat have frequent opportunities to learn beyond the classroom. Whether it’s exploring our school allotment and wildlife garden, taking regular trips to Stamford town, or enjoying residential visits and day trips, including our annual Pantomime outing at Christmas and the summer beach trip, we ensure there’s always something exciting on the horizon.

Our experienced pastoral team is always here to support both children and their families, helping them feel part of the Bluecoat community. We’re also proud to support apprentices, work experience students, trainee teachers, and social workers, fostering growth in both our staff and students.

Bluecoat is more than just a school; it’s a place where children feel valued, included, and inspired to learn. We welcome families from our community and beyond, and we’d love to show you around. Join us for a visit every Thursday from 9:00am to 10:00am.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Bluecoat family!
